The purpose of peer mediation is to help children find appropriate ways to respond to problems with others, it is not about telling others what to do. Peer mediators do not "make decisions" but rather work towards a win-win resolution for both sides in order to avoid further conflict.
The Prestolee Digital Leaders have been selected after submitting an application form outlining their passion and commitment to Computing. A group of 10 children from Years 4, 5 and 6 are known in school as the Digital Leaders.
UNICEF is the world’s leading organisation working for children and their rights. In 1989, governments worldwide promised all children the same rights by adopting the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC). As a school, we are working together towards achieving the Bronze Award for our rights-respecting work, which is the first step along the process.
