The Friends of Prestolee is a very welcoming and friendly group of parents and teachers.  Our aim is to raise funds to assist the school in providing an enriched curriculum for our children and enhance their learning experiences. We rely solely on people volunteering their time and energy and are always grateful for any amount of help people can offer. We always welcome new ideas for fundraising events so if you have any ideas we’d love to hear them.  If you are new to the school it is a great way of meeting people and there is no pressure on anyone to be involved more than they are able to. If you are interesting in joining us please speak to anyone on the team.

We’ve had a busy year last year with the children enjoying Halloween Discos, Movie Nights, Christmas Chocolate Bingo and an Easter Games Night. All of the events have been fantastically supported by the children, parents and community of Prestolee.

Last year we raised £2000. With the funds we’ve been able to pay for a Habitats Workshop in school for Year 2, funding of a script for the Drama Club, a Well-Being Bus, a French Workshop and six new Ipads to use in each of the classrooms for Twitter and developing skills and learning.
